Race Support
Europacific and Carrera Sport entered the Motor Racing scene in 2000 when they built up a 911 2.4S that was leased to Adam Cooper to run in the Bridgestone Porsche Series. The track activities grew and by 2004 the team consisted of eight cars, including Stephen Rasmussen himself. Carrera Sport has scaled down over the past few years but still offers race support and preparation to a number of cars in theBridgestone and Targa road rally events throughout the year. Below is a brief outline of the successes in motorsport at Carrera Sport / Europacific.

Tony Houston was the Bridgestone Champion followed, only 10 points behind, by Adam Cooper. Kevin Cantwell finished fourth overall and Europacific founder Stephen Rasmussen made his debut finishing 3rd in class and 9th overall.

With the entry of Steven Neville to the team Europacific recorded a one - two finish with Stephen Rasmussen finishing 1st in D Class, just 5 points behind the new Bridgestone Champion, Steven Neville.

An increase in numbers saw the Europacific take the top 4 placings in the 2003/04 Bridgestone Championship. Stephen Rasmussen winning in the 911 2.4S previously driven by Adam Cooper, followed by David Mackrell, Kevin Cantwell and Steven Neville in his first year driving a 964 Cup Car.

Stephen Rasmussen secured his second Bridgestone Championship title, this time in a 944 S2. Steven Neville finished 1st in Class and 2nd overall. Kevin Cantwell finished 6th overall and 2nd in class.
